Prepare to Go Long-Term

  1. Take Perspectives
  2. Connect with Tentmaker organizations like Global Opportunities and Tentmakers International Exchange
  3. Get skills needed in the AP, such as a degree in the medical field, TESOL, or Engineering
  4. Learn Arabic
    • At a university program
    • At a language school operated by Christians
    • Using the Internet or CD-ROMS like Rosetta Stone
    • Train for Bible translation
  5. Talk with your church leaders about your desire to go long-term and get advice from them.
